Speakeasy are an amazing charity who aid people with aphasia - a complex communication disability which is sometimes known as dysphasia. It can happen after a stroke or other damage to the language parts of the brain.

I have been to group sessions and witnessed first hand the importance of this support to the Speakeasy members. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated

Speakeasy – Supporting Communication

Speakeasy is a specialist aphasia charity based in Ramsbottom, Bury. A range of professionals and volunteers are involved to help in delivering support and therapeutic activity to people with aphasia and their families. All staff work part time: creatively and flexibly, involving volunteers where possible to ensure delivery of a high quality and efficient service which meets our members needs.
