Story

Hello! I'm currently a member of the TWGGS Ghana team, and together we are raising money for an amazing charity called the Ghana Education Project. The charity founded, and now runs the Kyabobo Girl's school, which provides education to 500 girls in the Nkwanta district of Ghana.

Next October I am going to Nkwanta, along with 15 other girls from Tunbridge Wells Girl's Grammar school to teach the students at the Kyabobo school. All the money raised from the walk will go to the Ghana Education Project (as we are individually covering the cost of our own trips).

I am going to be walking the Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk, which is around 27 miles long, in order to raise money for the Ghana Education Project.

At the moment, over 70% of people living in the Nkwanta district of Ghana, above 15 years of age, cannot read or write. Help us increase the education opportunities available, and donate to the Ghana Education Project! Here is a link to a video explaining the aim of the charity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll_tX2qXyKM .
