This is a cause that many of you know I am passionate about and will gladly rant at length on this subject. THERE IS NO SCIENCE that says culling works, we knew this when I was studying a biology degree years ago yet this conservative government have decided to go ahead with the slaughter anyway. Please, please help save these beautiful animals by supporting the Badger Trust and donating anything you can!
So now that I've made it through a Half Ironman in one piece the prospect of tackling the full one is looking a whole lot more real! I said as a kid watching Ironman on Saturday morning TV that one day I would do that (your fault Dad.) A climbing friend reignited that dream during my teacher training year and set me on the path to running my first marathon as a build up a year and a half out. Now that dream is hopefully going to become a reality!
