We Support people with mental health needs to enable them to become independent

Story

I am entering the Tough Mudder Half Race (23/09/2017) to raise money for Quo Vadis Trust that will be used to fund additional therapy such as Animal and Pet therapy and Art Therapy.

Quo Vadis Trust is a provider of supported housing, care and support to people who have mental illness in South London. In recent years, as statutory funding has dwindled, we have become adept at increasing activities without extra funding and would like to see this continue.

Not only will funding for extra activities greatly benefit clients of our service but it will also raise awareness of our mental health specialist housing charity. Housing is an important contributor to mental health and services such as the Quo Vadis Trust are crucial in promoting recovery and independence following mental health crisis and relapse.

Lastly, I am entering the Tough Mudder to challenge myself. I want to put myself to the test, get fit and improve my overall health. Those who know me personally will know that this will be an enormous milestone with regards to my physical health in the last two years.

I am greatly appreciative of any donations and thank you all in advance! xoxoxo :)
