Well I have just returned from my week in China and WOW what an amazing time I had. The walk was long, hard and over difficult terrain, taking in new and old parts of the wall, out in the wilderness and with the most stunning scenery. The group of 24 were fabulous, I have made some new friends and our Chinese Guides Michael and Miko were brilliant, along with Steve from Charity Challenge. It has been the hardest thing I have ever done but what a sense of achievement ...

I am raising funds for the charity I work for www.step-together.org.uk and we support vulnerable people to find volunteering roles and move forward in their lives. In addition, I am also raising money for the Greater Manchester Homeless Night Shelters which will reopen in November 2016. I volunteered for them last winter and we provide accommodation for homeless men, throughout the city. Funds are limited so they need your help, to reopen for everyone 

Which ever charity you choose to support, they are both really worthwhile causes and I really appreciate your help. I am paying for the trip myself, so all funds raised will go directly to the 2 charities.
