Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

11 years ago one of my closest friends broke his neck in a freak accident in Goa. The great news is Andy Wack survived! Wheelchair bound and paralysed from the neck down, he has gone on to rock life for the beautiful opportunity it is. Unfortunately, our beautiful little family was also rocked 16 months ago, when my then 36 year old wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. This had unfortunately spread and has resulted in numerous ongoing treatments and operations. Like Andy Wack, she is unprecedented in her strength. Throughout all this they have never waivered once. This September, it is Wac's intention to stand on top of Kilimanjaro. This will be the highest summit ever attained by someone of this level of disability. It is my intention to stand right next to my precious, brilliant friend. The last 12 months have been particularly enlightening for me, as a father, a husband and a friend. My none too shabby physique of 20 stone has a real personal battle to arrive at the summit of Kilimanjaro. What I desperately want, is to raise awareness for Wac and Reens, particularly the Worcestershire Breast Unit, that have ensured I have my beautiful wife here today. A huge achievement is about to take place and I ask for all your support. Please share this where you can. Your support for the Worcestershire Breast Unit will be massive and ensure people like Reens have the support they need. I want to raise AT LEAST £5,000 for this wonderful cause!!! And I think you will all agree hauling my little bum to the top of Kili with Wac deserves a few pounds of your support!!!!!!
