I am taking part in a banger rally with three other team members which is themed on the world's favourite secret agent - 007!

Taking place over a long weekend in July 2010, it will pass through France, Switzerland, and Italy onto the fabulous city of Venice. We will be going to the Dam where Bond performs the world's highest bungee jump in 'Goldeneye'.

We have to complete it in a car costing no more than £200.00!

There is of course no support en route. There will be the lovely uncertainty of whether our chosen chariot (an old Ford Mondeo which we have painted) will make it to the next checkpoint, let alone start in the morning. Breaking down miles from anywhere, on a mountain pass in a strange country should be great entertainment!!

I am raising money for a charity called Healing Little Hearts.  It is a registered charity set up to send specialist medical teams from the UK to Western India to perform life saving heart operations on babies and children who otherwise would have a slim chance of survival (mortality rate of 40%).
