Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm competing in the 30th Great North Run for the 2nd year running on 19th September 2010. With 53,999 other competitors running in one of the most iconic half-marathons around, the exposure this event receives is huge. Therefore, this is a great platform to increase the awareness of the work of the Alzheimers Society. Over 750,000 people have dementia which is only set to increase; this charity helps improve the quality of life of those affected by dementia, which also includes families and carers.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now, no matter how small and I promise to run my socks off in return...
Thanks,
Jo
