Story
It turns out that Jo Hardy has a simple philosophy in life: try to kill other people and herself. Well seriously, her philosophy is a sensible one: always strive to do more. Having completed the 5km Race for Life at Coombe Abbey last year, another 5km was not on the cards - she signed up for the 10km option.
Being a supportive soul, Jo Gretton offered to go for the occasional training run with Jo H after work once in a while. Also being easily persuaded, Jo G agreed to join Jo H in the 10km Race for Life certain in the knowledge there would be no spaces left (these Race for Life events get signed up fast!). This was an unfortunate miscalculation as there were plenty of spaces left ....
With six months to go, we were quite happy we had LOADS of time to train....with four months to go training hadn't gone quite as well as anticipated but hey, there were still four months to go...with one month to go we are now more realistic about our goal: lets get round the course and not die (preferably).
As we're not entirely stupid (despite the evidence to the contrary above) we aren't doing this for fun or for health reasons. This is not fun, its definitely not healthy (we really do think its got a good chance of killing us) but it is for CHARIDEE-MATE :-)
So, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease give us some money. Well give Cancer Research some money. Go on, you know you want to. We know where you sit/live/work.

PS If this event turns out to actually kill us, just think how awful you will feel if you haven't sponsored us.
