Taking part in the London Marathon is always something that I have wanted to do but never thought I would get the chance. Having completed a 5k, 10k,  a half marathon and then last year the Brighton marathon I have now been given that opportunity.

My chosen charity is St Lukes Hospice who are based in Essex and who I will be very honoured to be running for. St Lukes is where my dad spent time before he sadly passed away, and is also where less than a year later my mum spend time before she also passed away, albeit in the hospital near by.

I would be so very proud to be able to raise as much money as possible, not only in memory of my parents but for St Lukes to thank them for all for the care that they gave whilst mum and dad were there, and for their kindness and support to me and my family during which was a very difficult time.
