Most of us have at some time had a friend or family member affected by cancer and if I am going to put myself through a 1000 mile cycle I want to make sure it is for a very worthy cause!! I very recently lost my Auntie Maria and my friend's father Martin Rigby to cancer. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years ago but this has been succesfully treated. As I hit the pain barrier each day, I will be thinking of why I am doing this and what the money I have raised can be used for so please dig deep and donate now.
