Story

Welcome to our Marks and Spencer Jogle cycle for Mencap page. Hi im Dennis, a good friend of Grahams', Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are cycling from John O Groats to Lands End in April, a distance not far short of 1000 miles and will be joined by Andy from Micro P and Ian fron Urban Re-developments who will complete the last 300 miles with us from Birmingham to Lands End, Both will start with us at Merryhill M&S store which is where the team from M&S will join us for the days cycle to M&S Cribbs Causeway, approx 90 miles! This will be some feat for some and even Ron but he will have the advantage of driving the van!

Firstly we would like to thank M&S and Digital Distribution for there fantastic support and sponsorship of the cycle. Tony for as always the fantastic support and Kathryn for as always the fantastic management.  I have set this site up for Graham as this is part of a series of events he is doing for charity. He has already rowed the Atlantic raising £164,000  for The Prostrate Cancer Charity with the Prostratemarksmen team, he plans to compete in the Cross Sahara Run probably in 2014. As this is a challenge too far for me, (so was the Alantic row),  Graham has agreed to cycle the length of Britain so I can join him. Details of the Sahara event will be added later but for the the moment the main information on this site will be about the cycle ride.

Feel free to contact either myself or Graham if you want to know more about the run before it's posted here.

Right the cycle ride, we plan to start at John O'Groats April 19th 2013 and ride to Lands End over the next 9 days. We will be joined by a team from M&S and others at Birmingham who will ride a leg of approx 90 miles to Bristol. Marks & Spencer have pledged help with the organisation so hopefully it will all tie up nicely! Training is ongoing already but details are yet to be finalised so we will be updating this page and also our website www.travelbikes.co.uk as often as possible.

As I have already said this is ongoing and this page will be active for Graham's run across the Sahara, so please keep visiting to keep up with all the latest news and help Graham reach his target of £10000 for Mencap.
