Story
Hello and thank you for visiting this page, I am very committed to completing this challenge, walking 22km carrying 22kg, to help raise money and awareness, for this great charity.
When I left the Army, I found it very difficult to adjust into civilian life, especially for some years after the Falklands conflict in 82. I suffered badly with PTSD for a number of years, carrying all the guilt, nightmares and depressoin just to mention a few!! I had no help from the Army what so ever, and felt very letdown. With a loving and caring family I pulled through this illness, but without their support I would not be typing this. Thank you for your support.
Just to give you an update with the grand total raised for the SGV 22km challange 9,369.32.That can i say,i am humble and thankfull to you all.
Best John.
