Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page in memory of John Lyons who sadly passed away on Saturday 10th November 2018.

John was a much loved member of the team at Leonardo and all the various guises of the company he was part of in the eight years or so he was with us.  From Selex Systems Integration, Selex Galileo, Selex ES and Finmeccanica, through to Leonardo as we are known today, his deep knowledge and relationships he built within the blue light sector have been invaluable to the business. 

For the last year or so, John had also been working within the Home Office as part of the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme. Here, the ESN team also benefitted from his wealth of knowledge, as well as his well known sense of humour.

John was a good colleague but, more than anything, he was a good friend to many people within the company and wider industry. 

This page is raising money towards the brilliant people at the Lawrence Home Nursing Team, as requested by John's family.

Anything you can spare would be most appreciated and please feel free to raise a large glass of Merlot in his memory too.

Farewell John, you will be sorely missed.
