Story
In October this year, I will be taking on the toughest challenge of my life so far - I will be attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world!
The summit is a whopping 5895 metres above sea level - nearly four and a half times the height of Ben Nevis (the highest mountain I have climbed to date)!
So, why am I taking on this seemingly ridiculous challenge?
The answer is very simple: to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK - a charity which does fantastic work and helps so many people, however it desperately needs more support.
Cancer Research UK is also Team Spirit's current nominated charity which I am very proud to be supporting.
My trip is completely self-funded which means every penny you donate will go to this great cause!
So please dig deep, donate now and wish me luck!
