Story
As you may be aware, Anthony Oliver, a Magdalen College School pupil (87-92), is sadly no longer
with us. Over the years, he gave us some wonderful memories and he
greatly added to the richness of the school. However, no where
is there any recognition of his life. I would like to rectify this.
Being
a fantastically talented musician as well as the school organist, I have decided to raise money in order to buy a piano stool for the music department. This will be engraved with his name on it.
My fundraising event will run from the 9th to 18th June when I will be cycling (together with Sandy Small, MCS 89-91), unsupported, from Lands End to John O'Groats, a total of 987 miles.
Any donation, however small, would help to purchase the stool and the memories of Anthony will live on.
Many thanks, John Partington. MCS 1985-1992.
