We provide specialist palliative care to people with life limiting illness

Story

"Run like hell and get the agony over with." (Clarence DeMar - seven time winner of the Boston Marathon)

"Where the hell did I put the Scholl Blister Cream?" (John Ramchandani - one time entrant of the London Marathon)

In the words of Clarence, I will "run like hell" on April 25th 2010 when I take part in the Virgin London Marathon.

The reason I am taking part in this utter madness is to raise money for a very worthy cause.  The Willen Hospice is a wonderful charity which provides specialist palliative care for those with life-limiting illness and support for their families.  The hospice is almost entirely dependent on voluntary contributions so I am asking you to please dig deep and sponsor me to run the Marathon.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure – they’ll never sell your details on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks in advance your sponsorship and support.
