Fundraising for Alzheimer's Society
Story
Hi - thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
I am pleased to be helping the Credit Suisse charity of the year, the Altzheimer's Society - the leading care and research charity for people with dementia and also for their carers.
Many of us know people who have been impacted by this dreadful disease, and to help raise awareness of the condition and to raise funds for the Society, I chose to participate in this year's major fund raiser - THE INCA TRAIL CHALLENGE. The Challenge was quite arduous involving long trekking days and climbs of 4,500 m over a week of difficult terrain in early May 2010.
