James Lay shares his story...

After losing my children and freedom due to addiction, I wondered, while sitting in detention, what I was going to do. When I was released, I walked out of county detention and into Life Learning Center. Throughout the program and after graduating, I could see and feel a big change in every part of my life.

Today, I am drug and alcohol-free. I am employed full-time, have a car, and a 3-bedroom home for my children, of whom I regained custody. I take pride in my community, wanting to be part of the solution and no longer part of the problem. Smiling ear to ear right now, I could go on and on about the amazing changes in my life, all due to the dedicated team at the Life Learning Center. They helped pump life back into me, transforming my life, and now I walk with my head held high.
