GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT!!

Having successfully reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro for Help for Heroes in September 2010, I have been bitten by the altitude bug and will be dragging my aged body up and down the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp (17,590ft), covering a distance of around 100km and again, all in aid of Help for Heroes. The air is thin, the slopes steep and the bones not what they used to be, but every effort will be made to get to base camp and do credit to those that so desperately need this help. I will have a couple of weeks of stress and some discomfort - the people your money goes to help can have a lifetime. So please dig as deep into your pockets as I will dig deep into my physical and mental reserves to help those brave soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen that have paid a price for doing their jobs and what they believe in. Please dig deep if you can and help me make a difference.
