In memory of Stephen Ellis
We provide hospice care in Worcestershire to give people the best quality of life

Story

Jonny Ellis and Giles Braxton are riding Lands End to John O Groats.

Our amazing Dad / Father in Law (Stephen Ellis) died 5 weeks ago from Prostate Cancer. He was told at the beginning of April he had 6-8 weeks to live. He made it to 15th August, never complained, never said why me and when he died he did it surrounded by his family with great dignity.

This dignity was provided for him by the AMAZING support of St Richard's Hospice who did everything they could to provide him with all he needed to stay at home and be comfortable in those last few weeks.

This amazing charity (like all charities) are really struggling during Covid, but that does not stop their brilliant care. We want to give something back to them to say a huge thank you, raise money, undertaking a massive challenge and all in the memory of Dad!!

It's been suggested that the training takes a minimum of 3 months and we started on the 1st September!!

Training/Cycling wise - I have been told you need to start the day like an old man and eat constantly, well Giles and I have got those 2 points covered straight away!

This is a massive challenge for us and we will be riding for 10 days, 950 miles in total and wait for it - 51,250 ft of hills!!

Please sponsor us as much as you can and follow our progress on Facebook. We need all the support we can get!!

Thank you
