I have the been given the ultimate opportunity to showcase the benefits of transplantation, honour my donors and represent GB.

I have been a massive tennis fan for as long as I can remember. Being involved in tennis helped me through some very difficult times, especially when I was waiting for my second transplant. It helped with my confidence, gave me an outlet where I could still participate regardless of my condition.

Following my transplant, even though I had fractured legs, wheelchair tennis kept me involved within the sport.

Tennis  gave me a focus which aided in my recovery. 

Playing tennis gives me the opportunity to thank everyone who looked after me, (to many to name) but the main recipients, a thank you is not enough, are my two donors. Without them and the brave decision of their families none of this would be possible. 

I am raising funds to cover my expenses associated with attending the World Transplant Games in Perth Australia. Any surplus funds will go towards the Transplant Sport UK Management Team (including physios and coaches) who give up their time to support the team.
