Please help me raise funds for Sport Malawi (June 2019)

I am very proud to have been selected by the University of Gloucester to go on an expedition to Malawi for one month to work within the community, lead sports workshops and to embrace the Malawi culture. Malawi is a diverse and friendly country and is renowned for being the warm heart of Africa, but historically there have been social issues such as HIV and Aids, poverty, gender inequality and limited formal education. In addition to this, there is little value placed upon sport. I will be working with various organisations focusing on physical education, building relationships and educating on issues that are effecting the well-being and quality of life of Malawi people. Sport Malawi believes that sport and play has the ability to contribute to overcome these social problems. Our aims are to increase our understanding of the world we live in and to begin to see how our actions can positively impact the lives of others. To enable us to do this I need to raise £1500.00. I am part of a group of students who have many fundraising initiatives planned, but any additional contributions would be very much appreciated.
