We fund research and support families to find a cure to Batten disease

Story

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have decided to throw myself out of a plane at 13,000 ft on the 26th of June. This is not just for the fun of it but also because I am raising money for a charity that dedicates their time to helping families by providing support, raising awareness of a fairly unknown disease and also facilitating research in the hope that we can some day combat this devastating neurodegenerative disease.

The Batten Disease Family Association has a very tough job but they have clear and direct goal. Below is their mission...

"Our mission is to enable everyone who is affected by Batten disease to live life to the full and to secure the care and support they need until we find a cure. The BDFA offers informed guidance and support to families and the professionals who work with them as well as actively increasing awareness of the disease and funding future research to identify potential therapies and ultimately a cure."

You can find out all you need to know about this disease by having a look at their website.

I really appreciate all of the donations as little or large as they may come.
