Story

Over a decade ago I started running, it was during the time of my last few chemotherapy sessions....I felt such a strong desire to get out there and do something for me so I ran a mile around chorlton water park Manchester.  I was able to do this thanks to all the acupuncture, chinese herbs and other therapies I undertook at the time and I was able to do this thanks to all the generous support of my friends and family.

Ever since I've kept up my  running, nothing big, just running for the pure joy of it....out in nature, listening to the birds and  enjoying watching the change of seasons.

So now I've reached my 50th year I fancied a bit of a challenge and it's going to be a tough one, running my biggest ever distance and up on the fells of the Lake District. I'd really appreciate your support through your sponsorship in raising money for the very busy Penrith Mountain Rescue...who may be even busier come 6th May if I can't get up the fells!   The charity is run by volunteers  who go out in all weathers and at all times of day and night to rescue those that have got into difficulty on the fells...a worthy charity I hope you'll agree. So if you can give anything big or small I'd be very, very grateful and knowing you're behind me will help me get up those hills.

Many many heartfelt thanks

Jules xxxx
