Story
In July I will be cycling coast to coast, from Morecambe to Robin Hood's Bay.
That’s over 200 miles. Over 3 days. Including 2 Tour de France climbs (Kidstone Pass and Buttertubs).
Ouch.
I’ll be raising money for student support at Hertford College in Oxford. Hertford was the very first college to proactively seek out applicants from state schools in the 1960s, and the highest intake from non-fee paying schools in Oxford. The college spends more than £100,000 on bursaries for students every year, and even more on scholarships and hardship grants.
All funds raised by the bike ride will go towards student support: bursaries, hardship grants, scholarships and outreach work.

Many of you already give generously to other charities, and no doubt you are asked for money all the time. But I promise that I will be so enormously grateful to every one of you that sponsors me – and it will be a great motivation as I’m struggling up some very steep hills!
