I am taking part in the Lisburn half marathon to raise money for bravehearts ni. This charity is one of the charities which helped my sister and brother in law during a very difficult time a few months ago. 

My sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Harper in September 18. While she was attending a routine heart appointment in November  it was discovered she had coarctation of the aorta , aberrant right subclavian artery and hole in her heart systemoc hypertension and had to be admitted to the Royal Victoria hospital immediately to await a slot to become available for life saving surgery. 

The months Harper was in hospital were the hardest months my sister, brother in law and the entire family circle had to deal with.  Bravehearts was there to lend a listening ear, show support and help in ways we never thought was possible.  

Please help me in giving something back to a very worthy charity.
