Story
Yes - I've reached that time in my life when I suddenly feel the urge to throw myself out of an aircraft at 13,000 feet strapped to a red devil (that's a member of the parachute regiment in case you didn't know!). Yes - I am petrified and yes, I am completely mad but I know that ultimately the money I raise will help to make a real difference to the lives of many young disabled people - most of whom will never have the opportunity of being as ridiculous as me!
The Treloar's Trust provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. Their aim is to prepare them for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential.
My neice Abbie suffers with cerebral palsy and attends Treloar's. I have seen first hand the amazing work that's done there with the children and this is my way of giving something back. Please give generously (and help me get my midlife crisis out of my system in the process!). Thankyou.
(And being scared is never really a good enough reason not to do something in life!)
