Story
Hello and welcome!
For those of you who know me you will realise it has been a while since I jumped off or out of something to raise well needed funds! However, I have not been idle, in fact last year I was called upon to provide a slightly different type of donation - my stem cells!
From their bone marrow donor register, which I had been on for about 6 years, the Anthony Nolan Trust matched me to a very ill patient. They flew me to London and I donated my stem cells over two days in May 2009. It was a memorable, pain free experience I am proud of and I would urge everyone to think about joining their register.
This year I wanted to help Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland as they were the first charity I was involved with. I would therefore be grateful for any donation you can spare to assist them in their work. All I have to do is abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge. Given the work Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland do, personally, I think I get the easy job!
Keep healthy and happy
Julie
