Hi Everyone,

I did it...........!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that it is now a whole week since I jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet and plumetted down at around 125mph until the chute opened and everything seemed to stand still before we gently wound our way down over the beautiful sunny Oxfordshire countryside!

What a breathtaking experience - falling through the clouds was just like being in a white-out snow skiing - it was totally surreal - a view you normally see out of a plane window but here I was with nothing between me and the clouds!!!

I persuaded my instructor to let me have a go at the controls but he was very safety conscious and it was over all too quickly despite my breathless entreaties of "... please can we stay up here all day - I love it!!!!....."

It was awesome and I would do it all over again tomorrow. I feel so privileged to have achieved a lifetime ambition and to have raised hundreds of pounds for such a great charity. Thank you so much to everyone who has given so generously - I couldn't have done it without your support!!!

A few more of you have promised that you have yet to sponsor me and I am so close to exceeding my target so please dig deep and help me do it....!!!
