Hi there! Yes, I'm really doing the half marathon, but I'm doing it for a first class reason! I'm doing it to raise money for a fantastic school, The Pace Centre.

Joshua, my youngest son, has special needs - he was born with hydrocephalus (water on the brain), which resulted in cerebral palsy and other related disorders.

In 2001, we found this amazing school, The Pace Centre. The school works on giving children like Joshua 'skills for life' based on the principles of Conductive Education (you can read all about this on my page!) Joshua would never have been given the opportunities to become the little boy that he is now if it wasn't for the wonderful staff at Pace. They challenge him everyday and makes sure he works hard to do his very best.

The Pace Centre really is a very special place.
