Event: Wigley Group Warwick Half Marathon, on 1 March 2020
We protect natural habitats in Warwickshire to benefit wildlife and people

Story

By running my first half-marathon at the tender age of 61, I am raising funds for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust in memory of my brother Aidan. Aidan and I spent many wonderful days birdwatching and Brandon Marshes was one of our favourite haunts.  Warwick Racecourse was another favourite place for him too!

The Trust works to protect wildlife and wild places and to educate, influence and inspire people about nature conservation. Our work is securing a future for many important habitats and species, which might otherwise be lost. The future of wildlife conservation as a Living Landscape where reserves are connected and wildlife is free to live naturally. With your help we can create this living landscape, where wildlife can thrive and people are reconnected with nature.

About the charity

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is the leading local independent conservation organisation. Our mission is to bring people closer to nature and create a land rich in wildlife.
