Having recently moved to Newcastle for work I have decided to join 57,000 other people and take part in the Great North Run. If you don't know, I despise running and would much prefer to sit in a pub with a couple of beers however, I am up for the challenge! I am looking forward to raising as much money as possible for a fantastic charity. 

My chosen charity is Smile For Life, they strive to make a real difference to the lives of young people with physical and learning disabilities across the North East of England. Whether it is by providing equipment, experiences, short breaks, or even work placements for students in their Café Beam in Newcastle, Smile For Life empowers these young people to achieve their potential to live a full and happy life. 

Your donation (however small) can help change and improve the lives of young people so I would really appreciate your help in reaching my target, I shall be documenting my journey with you all so you can actually see that I am actually training and not just sitting in the pub and trying to wing it with a few weeks to go 😂
