You made it over the rainbow to our fundraising site – thank you!

We’re off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz because, because, because, because we’re doing it again... the MoonWalk that is!  Last year, we dressed as pirates with treasure on our chest (get it?…You will…) and walked 13.1 miles through the night in .  But this time we’re doing 26.2 miles and are constantly going to be thinking “there’s no place like home (with a foot spa)!”

Just before midnight on 15 May 2010 Jen (Dorothy), Jane (Scarecrow), Jo (Tin Man) and Ali (Lion) will set off from Kansas, sorry Hyde Park, with over 18,000 women (and a few brave men) all clad in decorated bras to power walk the full marathon distance.  Although there’s not much hope of ’s roads being yellow or brick we do hope we can raise lots of money for Walk the Walk – Uniting Against Breast Cancer.  The charity funds breast cancer research, prevention and treatment which is why we are obliged to wear just our bras (all the way!)
