Hello Friends! First time,  I am taking part in half marathon run and I am excited to be part of this good cause. I will be running a half marathon in 2021 to raise awareness and funds for AID.

 •    AID is a 29 year old  organization with about 22 chapters in US and many more in India and other countries.

•    AID runs about 100 programs across 22 states in India in association with local partners, improving 600,000 lives directly and many more indirectly.

•    AID mostly targets to finance last mile projects - causes that aren't being supported by well-funded NGOs or government.

•    AID has been rated 4 stars by Charity Navigator for last three years - which says a lot about their transparency, accountability and financial health.

•    AID is mostly volunteer run – meaning no high rents, no laptops, very low overheads.

AID has been actively helping the masses – daily wagers with no savings to feed their families, migrant workers who can’t pay rent in the cities and are now walking back to their villages on foot, sometimes 500-800km and others who are stuck in the lockdown in India.

While the government has been trying its best, they are limited for many reasons and delays are only exacerbating the situation.
