In April I am taking part in the 'Endeavour India' challenge, to raise money for a local trust who are supporting four amazing charities with this event.

 The event is a Mountain Adventure Race through the Indian Himalayas, ending with an attempt of the snow clad Minkiani Pass at over 14,000 feet. The event will include trips to the slums of Delhi and a Tibetan charity in northern India, for the mentally handicapped. 

We are hoping to raise significant funds for the following fantastic charities...

• Walking with the Wounded - supporting the most vulnerable veterans re-integrate back into society and regain their independence

• Shiksha Rath (which translates as Chariot of Education) - A highly focussed, long term initiative, ground breaking slum academy

• Nyingtob Ling (Realm of Courage) - A rehabilitation centre for exiled Tibetans with special needs. Established in 1999 with the encouragement of the Dalai Lama

• The Gurkha Welfare Trust - The Gurkhas are soldiers from Nepal who are recruited into the British Army, and have been for the last 200 years.

Ive been keen to get involved and do more for charity, plus this will really push me massively outside my comfort zone....( not sure what im more scared of... the mountains or the Delhi Belly) 

The Indian Edeavour supports these amazing charities and once I found out about it I couldnt wait to sign up.

I hope you can help me to reach my target and help raise funds for such great causes
