Galgos Del sol is a registered charity based in Murcia Spain , they rescue and rehome abandoned and injured Galgos and Podencos , every hound has a different story and some are found in distressing circumstances but Galgos Del Sol never give up , they are responsible for over 150 of these hounds They gone on to rehabilitate these amazing hounds and find forever homes for them across Europe , the USA and the Uk .Galgos Del sol in the last year have started an education programme visiting schools and now have an onsite education centre, where local children can visit and learn about these amazing hounds and have hands on experience and see the hounds at GDS 

As GDS supporters know Kim Sas lives and works tirelessly onsite at GDS and I’m lucky to be able to visit often and volunteer onsite and spend time out of my holiday to walk the hounds and I did stay onsite for one week which was one of the most rewarding times of my life ! So Kim is going to be taking a break from all her duties on site to relax and put her paws up and I’ll be joining her ! We will spend 24hrs living in the kennel and enjoying our food from the bowls and excercising with the hounds in the exercise  yard , and on  agility course , with walks round the sensory garden and chilling on the sofa and after a day of hounds fun we will be sleeping in the kennels , so we need your support in raising money for Galgos Del sol as there’s always a vet bill or food bill to pay  or hound to be rescued  it’s never ending !
