It was Jakey's fundraising efforts last year that you so kindly supported when he did the Yorkshire Coast family Fun Run - now it's my turn!! 

I have started my training programme & really looking forward to running the Great North on 19th September (am I mad?) as well as swimming a mile in openwater in the Great Swim Salford Quays on 26th September.  All money I raise will go straight to the Scarborough Branch of the Alzheimers Society - they have been invaluable to myself & my sisters over the last few years while caring/coping with MUM.  They were on the brink of closure last October but I'm delighted to say we've helped keep them open with our previous fundraising efforts.......

Really appreciate every penny you can spare & every penny goes to the charity as I pay for both race entries/travel etc.

Mum I'm running & swimming for you & will be thinking of you every step of the way!!!! I love you
