Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your sponsorship and support. 'Ned the horse' and I flew home in 2 hr 10 min and 1 sec! Ned was a little deflated afterwards, but nothing a pint and pizza didn't sort out (or should that be a carrot and a stud muffin?).

It was a great experience and lots of people cheered me on (even if they did think I was riding a donkey/dinosaur!).

Big thanks,

Kat x

Hi everyone & thanks for clicking on my fundraising page :o)

On 17th October I will be running my first half-marathon IN AN INFLATABLE COWBOY_RIDING_A_HORSE outfit in Cardiff!!! Sammy has kindly agreed to be my pace-maker for the first 6 miles and hopefully we can avoid dipping into any pubs along the way together!

My training schedule has definitely had a few gaps due to weddings, hen-dos and birthdays, but fingers crossed the thought of a cold pint & a chocolate bar at the other end will help me through!

I have chosen to raise money for The Horse Trust. This charity is the oldest horse charity in the world and does great things for our four-legged friends by rehabilitation and also by funding research into equine diseases, such as grass sickness, which our pony, Ace, died of earlier this year.

This is definitely going to be a challenge for me! Please give generously and support the work of the Horse Trust.

Thanks very much indeed, Kat xxx
