Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running the Leeds Half Marathon on Sunday 9th May 2010. Hopefully the weeks of training will pay off and I plan to complete the course in around two hours.
In February my dear friend Liz Gardner died. Liz had cystic fibrosis and for her adult years was treated by the CF Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. I am raising funds for the Unit in her memory. Having the target of the race has helped me through the difficult weeks following her death. Any donation you can make, however small, will be greatly appreciated.
Donations made through this page are allocated to the Hospital who will then send donations made for Liz through to the CF Unit, for something to be paid for in her memory. This means your money won't be lost in the Hospital's general funds.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks very much,
Kath
