We help children with disabilities to achieve their potential

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon this year in aid of a fantastic charity Brainwave.

I have included some information about the work that Brainwave does below but please do visit them at  http://www.brainwave.org.uk  to find out more as their website tells their story better than I do.

Since 1982, Brainwave has worked with families to deliver

individual home based therapy and exercise programmes that

help children with disabilities and developmental delay to

achieve their potential.

That potential could be anything from a child walking or feeding themselves, to counting

or forming sentences. Our attitude is ‘let’s see what can be done’, rather than what cannot.

We employ a range of therapists including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and

Educationalists, enabling us to take a holistic approach.

Brainwvave is an independent charity that receives no government funding, relying on donations to

deliver our work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you!

Katherine
