Story

As many of you know, I was meant to be running the VMLM on Sunday as this charity’s sole runner (many charities have at least 50+ representing them).

All charities rely on this event every year as a significant part of their fundraising.

I have stayed in close contact with my charity in these times; hearing the impact that it is having on them and those they support. Who are now no longer able to access day services, nor understand why - and sadly there have been losses. The staff are under extreme pressure due to the changing nature of the support needed.

So on Sunday I will be completing the 2.6 challenge - I will aim to run 2.6 miles in 26 minutes, do 26 burpees which I hate, plank for 2.6 minutes and if you donate and comment do whatever you suggest (so long as it keeps us all safe)

I’ll finish the day off by drinking 2.6 bottles of wine.

I appreciate some of you may already have donated and these are hard times, but if you please can? £2.60, £26 or anything!

Thank you for reading and stay safe xx
