Between this birthday and my next one I'm trying to raise £4000 for a women's vegetable garden, with a well, in the Gambia. I'm kickstarting my fundraising by asking for donations for my birthday and will be doing lots of little fundraisers throughout the year.

Schools for Gambia have been installing women's gardens across the Gambia for a few years, always with great results. Women are able to play an active role in their communities, grow nutritious food and have a source of income.

I don't think you get many presents once you're in your twenties but, if anyone WAS thinking of getting me something, a donation to schools for Gambia would make my day!
