Story
Hey everyone! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 25th April 2010 I am going to run the London Marathon - all 26.2 miles in support of the NSPCC!!!! It is going to be the biggest and scariest but most fantastic challenge of my life! I have never done anything like this before but I am giving it my all and I am going to succeed in finishing it!
I have chosen to support the NSPCC. Their aim is to end cruelty to children. It is working towards this by supporting children (and their families) and by seeking to change public attitudes and the law. All of these activities require funding, and the charity relies heavily on public donations.
A donation of £10 could pay for a school counsellor and give a child who is bullied or abused someone to turn to right now.
A donation of £20 could pay for an NSPCC Childline worker to answer calls for another hour, so many desparate children will get the vital help that they need.
I really hope that you will believe in me and donate any money that you can. I am sure that you will agree that the NSPCC is a worthwhile charity. I hope to raise at least £1600, but any money you can give to me will be greatly appreciated. So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks so much
