Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In only a few months time I will be joining the EJF in a four day cycle ride from London to Paris! Most people know I love Paris..but not this much!

I will have to cycle over 300miles which is 290miles more than I have ever cycled in my life! Luckily I will have the Pure London Team for support as four of my colleagues will be joing me for the Great Fashion Cycle.

The EJF, is a charity established to empower people who suffer most from environmental abuses to find peaceful ways of preventing them. They are involved in a number of valuable campaigns all over the world, including one particularly close to the heart of the fashion industry, the 'pick your cotton carefully' campaign. It is this campaign which the Pure Team have chosen to champion, with all funds raised through their our participation in this ride, going directly to help the EJF in their plight to eradicate child labour and the deadliest pesticides from cotton production, alongside promoting organic alternatives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for your support and don't forget to keep an eye on the Pure London website www.purelondon.com for updates on our ride and fundraising.

About the charity

EJF works in some of the world's most difficult and remote countries to protect vulnerable communities, wildlife and wild places. Our campaigns have led to action on forced labour and human trafficking, national and global bans on deadly pesticides and arrests of illegal 'pirate' fishing trawlers.
