Story
On 9 July, I'm participating in a dance-a-thon for Human Rights Watch. I hope you'll make a donation to that effort.
I'm dusting off my dancing shoes to support the tremendous work of Human Rights Watch. For those of you who don't know Human Rights Watch, the organisation protects and defends human rights around the world, standing with victims and activists to prevent discrimination, to uphold political freedom, to protect people from inhumane conduct in wartime, and to bring offenders to justice. (You can read more at www.hrw.org.) I first became involved in supporting this work in 2006.
My uncompromising training schedule for the dance-a-thon is tough but bearing fruit. Some call my dancing style "angular"; others call it "tough on the eyes". You can see for yourself the style I hope to have perfected by the event at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xi4O1yi6b0.
