Story
Despite a gale and an ice storm we managed to make it to the top on Monday 29th March, knees just about intact...
It's over two years since I've put out the begging bowl, I've kept my hand in trying to do Mont Blanc (dodgy weather and dodgy knees) and the Romanian Carpathians (dodgy vampire tourism), including learning the ropes with crampons and ice axes, and ropes!
So the time has come to ask you again to support an excellent charity, Hope & Homes for Children. I am climbing Toubkal in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains at the end of March, not the highest but well into needing the crampons and ice axes. As ever I'm paying all my own costs so anything you give will go straight to a great cause. The JustGiving website also makes getting the tax sorted easy.
Thanks for your support, this will definitely hurt me more than you, the knees are getting ever older.
