I completed the adventure of a life time -  to walk from Lands End to John O'Groats , on 5 July 2010 after walking for almost 2 months. This idea started with the amount of walking that I have done as rehabilitation after a heart attack in 2000. As this year is the 10th anniversary of my heart attack it seemed perfectly sensible to me to celebrate by walking the best part of 1,000 miles !  I have been told by some of you that I am mad however......

I calculate that the walk is 945 miles and at £10 per mile this gives me the fund raising target of £9,450 for the British Heart Foundation

So please dig deep and donate now - remember it is only money, I was the one with the blisters and the tired legs !
