Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

People who know me know I don’t run. Ever. Not for a bus. Not if responding to a shout of “last orders “ or even if someone else is about to eat the last piece of chocolate.....nope, not even then. 

But I’ve agreed to try and complete the Frenchay 10K by at least walking really, really quickly.

Nicky Marshall, one of my oldest and dearest friends, is a Trustee of Paul’s Place and has been telling me all about the amazing people she’s met and the inspiring stories of the people whose lives have been helped by the fabulous staff and volunteers at the charity.  

So, one Monday evening, I was sat by myself in a hotel room when Nicky put a shout out for people to join her in doing a 10K and before I knew what was happening I had signed up. I’m still not sure what came over me.

Who knows, I might get the running bug and suddenly find myself doing that thing where they run 477 marathons across a desert.  I feel that’s fairly unlikely so, this may be your only chance to sponsor me to 1) make sure my lazy a**e makes it round the course but, more importantly, 2) raise a bit of money for Paul’s  Place so they can continue the amazing work they do.
