Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided to do something daring before the end of 2010 arrives and at the same time raise funds to help with the creation of a children's play centre in the new Cancer Centre at the Churchill hospital. The idea is to convert about a quarter of the space in the waiting room (it is quite large) into 3 'play' areas - two for young children (an activity area with plenty of toys and comfy seats and a Wendy house) and a third with computers and internet access for slightly older patients to keep themselves entertained during what are sometimes a few hours waiting time. The hospital may become a centre for young cancer sufferers - specialising in treating young (up to 25 apparently) patients.
